Birthday surprises!

It's my friends 40th birthday on Christmas Eve and I wanted to make sure that the occassion is marked (she is not getting away with the fact that she is 40 just because it's Christmas Eve!). So i made her this card and matching gift box. Wanted to make something in striking bright colours to make sure that it didn't all get lost in the Christmas frenzy! The image is another fantastic design from Bugaboo. The paper is from my stash and the gift bag was made using a die on my Big Shot. All coloured in with my favourite pro-markers. It was really nice to do something different from Christmas!

Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer

Well I think this is the last of the Christmas cards! I made these for my family and close friends. Rudolph was cut using the Create and Critter Cricut Cartridge and the background paper is from Pink Polkadots.

Snowflake Fairy

This is the Christmas Card that I made for my daughter, Katie. It is made with a new digi stamp from Sweet November Stamps which I bought from All that Scraps. I have coloured it with Promarkers and glitter pen. The snowflake background is a Sizzix embossing folder.. I think she is so pretty and makes a real change from the normal Christmas cards!

Choccie Boxes!

These boxes are made from a single sheet of 12"x12" card. My lovely Stampin Up lady showed me how to make them at my last Stampin Up Party. All you have to do is score at 10cm from each side. Then fold the four corners into half to make a box shape, punch holes into each corner and hold together with ribbon - takes minutes to make but looks so clever! I have used Bugaboo Bobble Head Christmas designs. I have filled each section with a bag of sweets. I am going to give them to my friends at work. They make a really lovely gift but don't cost a fortune.

Halloween Wreath

You've probably noticed by now that I LOVE Halloween! And because of that I have gone over board with the Halloween crafting (with still more to do - LOL). This wreath is made using lots of ribbon and my Paper Dolls Cricut Catridge. It now has pride of place in my Halloween decorated cloakroom - well where else would you put Halloween decorations all year round but in the 'CLOAKROOM'!

Halloween Treat Carry Boxes

Don't you just love Halloween! An excuse to make the cutest boxes and cards! These little carry boxes were made from a template (can't remember where I found it!) and covered with paper from Pink Petticoat. The little vampire is from CC Designs and is a digi stamp, coloured in with my Promarkers. The box is filled with a matching notebook, some original American candy corn and a few lollipops! Just perfect for my friends two little boys.

Cute Halloween!

This 'cute' Halloween card was made using Magnolia stamp and papers. It was nice to make something Halloweeny without the traditional black! My little witchey was coloured using Promarkers and the stars are made from a Sizzix die.

Haute Couture!

No posts for ages and then two in one day! The gift bag was made using the Haute Tote template by AR Designs. The card is made using a CC Designs digi stamp Butterfly Brigita. The papers are from Doodlebug.

Halloween Treat Boxes

These little 'pizza' boxes are all ready to be filed with Halloween treats. The designs on them are from the 'Make a Monster' Cricut Cartridge and finished off with some ribbon from my stash.

Witchy Accessories

As I've mentioned before I love everything to do with Halloween and have a fascination with witches. I've really got into making Prim ornaments and here is a picture of my witchy boots and hat. They are made out of muslin painted with black acrylic paint, baked in the oven and then a 'secret' recepie of cinnamon paint applied, back in the oven and then finished off. I just loved making them - made my house smell lovely too!

Teacher Gifts!

I have started making teacher gifts for the end of term for my daughter. Thought I would start early and avoid the mad rush that I have every year.

This little cupcake box contains 6 matching cupcake notelets.

The yummy cupcakes were cut from Sweet Treets Cricut Cartridge. The background papers are from Pink Petticoat and the cardstock is from Stampin Up!

Monster Dudes!

Couldn't resist making these little note books with my new Cricut Cartridge 'Mini Monsters'! They are so easy to make and have a post-it note pad a little pencil attached. All you need to do is to cut a piece of card 7 3/8" by 3 3/4". Then score at 3 1/8", 3 1/2" and 3 7/8". Fold along the scores and cut two small slits in the folded edge. Stick together with some double sided tape and add your notebook and pencil! I made one for my daughter, one for my husband and one for me!

Fathers Day!

Been busy making a Fathers Day card for my dad. The little fishing bear is a digi image from www.disdigidownloads.blogspot.com. I coloured it in with my Promarkers and used some papers from my stash and added a couple of card candy. I cut out the 'DAD' using my cricut machine.

Sheep File Folder

Well so far so good, I am now on post 2 for this week as per my plan! Today's crafty project was something I had been meaning to make for ages and just hadn't got round to. So this morning I decided it was time! In the end I ended up making 3 of these folders because they were so easy to make and just look so cute all together! The pattern is a Lauren Meader template and the stamps are from Elzybells Stamps! The coloured cardstock is Certainly Celery from Stampin Up.

Post It Note Box

Well I have finally got my act together and with some new gadgets (a photo cube to hopefully improve my photos!) I hope to start putting some of my creations on my blog! This is the first one that I made the other day. It is such a cute little box and contains 4 little post it notes for all those little notes! The template for this little box and the covers for the notebooks can be found at www.cuttingcafe.typepad.com.
