I recently treated myself to a Silhouette Cameo and decided it needed a dust cover (not that it spends much time sitting around doing nothing). Silhouette have just bought out dust covers for them but they are only availabe in the USA, so I decided to make my own. And this is the result! I decorated it with the new Happi Bird Dies from Sizzix, cut out of fabric with bondaweb on the back. And even though the sewing isn't pefect I am really pleased with it.
Here is the link for the pattern I found on the internet. You need to increase the pattern in something like Photoshop to get the right size but that wasn't too tricky.
Now does my Cricut machine need a matching one? I've been busy sewing the last few days (don't you just love Summer Holidays to have time to play) and I made this lovely pair of witchey boots and a matching hat. The pattern came from ebay. The pattern is so clear and easy to use and my sewing skills are fairly limited but I am really pleased with the results. This is a pattern that I found on the internet but adapted the size. The little bunnies are from Digistamp Boutique. They are SO cute and really lovely to colour in. Just added some gingham paper and ribbon to finish. The little milk carton is closed with a binder clip. I plan to fill them with homemade chocolates (well that's the plan at the moment - lol). When I run out of time it will probably be a cream egg or something.

Entered in challenge - Spoonfull of Sugar - EasterWeeziehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04560407461718965756noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8362821246623933242.post-17798540362393941652011-03-23T16:36:00.007+00:002011-03-23T16:54:56.249+00:00Flower Birgitta<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-qfBlTnUMP_Q/TYoiLV5y2fI/AAAAAAAAAP4/84ETCJi6_RE/s320/Image0673.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5587315865959979506" />

I was asked to make this card for a special Mummy whose Mother's Day this year will be her first!
